Edge of Tomorrow is a science-fiction action thriller movie that is stunning and spectacular. When you have Tom Cruise in a movie there's no paucity for action sequences and your thirst for first rated action scenes are quenched aplenty in this movie.

Initially, seeing the movie poster, my expectation was that it's going to be a hard core action film but then the opening sequences of the movie left me in dismay. I was wondering, was this film overrated? Definitely Not! The opening sequence is a swiftly paced sophisticated exposition about the world in which the movie revolves around. It progresses at a rapid pace in such a way that if you don't heed, you're gonna get confused later. The intriguing drama sets off when the science fiction facet kicks in and that's when things get really interesting.
What I am about to tell you sounds crazy. But you have to listen to me. Your very lives depend on it. You see, this isn't the first time.
The story being a science-fiction action movie has a lot of features embedded into it. Hence, viewers may need to be conscious of a plethora of factors that's being bombarded into your minds about the setting of world. And just for this reason alone, the movie is watchable more than once. I must insist that the climax sequence was engaging and engrossing to the core. The movie ends in rather an absurd fashion which left me with more than a couple of logical questions but the overall impression the film had on me was impressive and enchanting.
Now listen carefully. This is a very important rule. This is the only rule. You get injured on the field, you better make sure you die.
The characterization of Tom Cruise is in itself amusing. It was uncharacteristic of him to portray a craven little man but it surely does pave way for the hilarious comedy scenes upfront. And when the movie progresses, you see the Real Badass Tom Cruise! Apart from him, you have Emily Blunt whom we meet halfway across the film. Both the actors have done an incredible job in lifting this enchanting science fiction thriller to a whole new level.

With a baffling beginning but a captivating screenplay, Edge Of Tomorrow is an absolutely spectacular wonder that you must watch. Needless to say anything for Tom Cruise fans, just watch it already.
