Psycho is one of the most sensational and influential films ever made in the thriller genre and is considered to be among the greatest films of Hollywood. When I watched the movie I was awestruck by it's brilliance. The story is simple but the twist that was employed in the movie is one of the most breathtaking and galvanizing aspect in the history of filmmaking.
Well, I avoid giving spoilers in my movie suggestions and this movie being a suspense crime thriller, I do not want to comment anything about the story. It is simply gripping from from the opening shot to the closing shot. You are always on the edge of the seat and engrossed to find out what's gonna happen next. I must say it is difficult to find a dull moment in the movie.
The performances of the cast is exceptional. They have not just portrayed but lived as the characters in the film. The director is famous for crime thriller movies and Psycho is an epitome of his virtuosity in filmmaking.
