Poem #8: Sufficed.

SUFFICED.

Oh God or Nature

Take me away

A theist and an atheist believes

in the one or other

One makes up the religions

the other makes up the visible universe

and I've had faith in both

Thinking about all I've had

from a different dimension

and with an optimistic lens

I realize I am enough

and I've had enough

What have I had? Well...

Fortunate was I

To have received true love

Not only from bloodline

but from the universe

Oh it was not just one

but two pure hearts

with pristine true love

Receiving only more and more

never have I been destitute

even after repeating my mistakes

Someone has carried me

like a baby and coddled me all along

Tears of joy keeps swelling

when I think about all I've had

I may not have what I cherished then

and I may lose what I adore now

but I feel enough

Ergo...

Overwhelmed with receptivity of abundant

joy, attainment, despondency and listlessness

I say I thank thee

with much obliged gratitude

Entirely lacking any motive now

I believe my delighful tenure

in this beautiful prison has...

Sufficed.
