Did you know?

The director of Chef was the director of Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Jungle Book, and The Lion King.

Chef is a short, sweet and a happy family drama. it is also a good movie to watch for the young kids at your home. The story narrates the serendipitous life of a chef. With a kid around, the movie is light-hearted.

Although you get to see the usual cliches like good guy versus bad guy and father son moments, there is a soothing air of freshness around this chef. The engaging road trip and rising up of the protagonist along the way is a highlight and an entertaining sequence to look out for. And you will be surprised by how swiftly the scenes pass away before you realize. There isn't any dull moment in the movie.

With the story about a chef, what about the cooking scenes? Well, there is no paucity of cooking scenes. You have a variety of scenes where the protagonist is cooking palatable dishes which you can only wish to have from the screen. Especially, the breakfast grilled cheese scene was absolutely mouth watering and one of my favorite cooking scenes. With lots of love, friendship and humor, Chef tickles our emotions and succeeds in amusing us.

Favorite Movie Quote:

I may not do everything great in my life, but I'm good at this.

Chef is a beautiful movie to watch along with your whole family and do look out for the cameo from Iron Man.

Verdict: A dish well served for your family!
